We’re nearly halfway through 2020, even though the majority of it has been spent inside. Artists have still released projects, though touring options are restricted. Lil Baby struck right before the pandemic hit with his latest project, My Turn. The project produced a few gems including what can possibly be one of the best hip-hop songs of the year, “Emotionally Scarred.” The song’s received praise from Jay-Z and countless others but today, NLE Choppa has slid through with his own rendition of the track. The rapper released a remix to “Emotionally Scarred” detailing his own struggles within his love life. Though it’s not as potent as Baby’s original, it’s another strong effort from NLE Choppa.
